bottlerocket

Created as the cover art for a friend’s EP release, this project began by physically constructing a prototype bottle rocket from recycled materials. Building the rocket provided an essential physical reference for capturing how ambient light interacts with the translucent green plastic of the bottle, a key visual focus of the painting. Translating a handmade, physical object into a finished digital/painted artwork and seeing it featured on a major music streaming platform was incredibly fun and rewarding.
